Very old restored, spacious pilgrim's hostel, in stunning Umbrian hills. 7km from Citta di Castello. Trains to Perugia, Citta di Castello, Arezzo (then bus to Citta di Castello) Perugia Airport is nearest but limited service. It is private home now.

Skills required:
Currently there are areas of woods to be cleared of brush, debris to be burnt etc. lots of soil prep and planting.
Gardening: creation of old local varieties orchard with help from local expert in this field. Creation of organic vegetable garden, maintenance of established herb and olive areas: weeding, planting hedges, strimming, wall building etc.
Interior work includes preparing and varnishing shutters.

House maintenance: Painting and varnishing, general help in maintenance of large house - cleaning, sorting out store room etc.

I offer comfortable accommodation, own bathroom and bedroom. Good simple food locally sourced - excellent vegetables and fruit. Some poultry and fish, not much red meat, local wine.

This is a special location, very beautiful and tranquil. The house and garden have been established over the past 15 years. I'm hoping to find people who will appreciate these factors and want to contribute to improving and developing what has already been achieved. Salt water pool June to October - not heated.

I am flexible regarding working hours but expect a fair contribution.
