Looking for motivated people to help with barn restoration, forestry clearing, bringing back scrub to pasture and much much more. We are in the french Pyrenees in a beautiful area, we have everything you could ask for in leisure pursuits locally from rock and mountain climbing, to riding, water activities, walking, skiing, etc etc.
We have some sheep a sheep dog (she thinks)! two horses, a tractor, digger, chain saws etc etc.
Apart from people with practical skills we are looking for people who get a buzz out of working on the land and achieving a great days work and enjoying great food.

We have had probably 12-14 volunteers last year, we met some wonderful people who kindly left us 5 "excellent" feedbacks 5 'Very Good' and one "zero" (Don't quite know what happened here)!! Starting in January 2018 we are going to get the garden back into production (we didn't buy a vegetable last year), we have to do some building maintenance and some serious building on my old barn (1820) which needs rebuilding.
part of the work load is going to be cutting down something like 200 pine trees, then milling them down to building timber.
I have a tracked digger, dumper, tractor, all the building equipment you can imagine, all ready to go.
Drop me an email. However, be prepared, we work hard here and play hard. If you are coming before the end of March there is lots of skiing locally (45mins) and endless hills and valleys to discover.
If you like working on a wooden yacht and sailing then contact me. I am going to the boat May June and then sailing in September/October around the Greek islands.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Book early, last year we had twice as many applicants than places !!

Write to me and receive a full letter of explanation of what we do and who we are etc.
Cheers
Barry
