Hi again folks thats right we are a working croft the clue is in the name...working....we do not supply all incusive free holidays to spoilt middle class children who have no manners it would be a bad example to our own children, everyone else is very welcome and i think you would be hard pressed to find a more happy, smiley and welcoming family in the highlands of Scotland..we produce all our own meat including beef, mutton, lamb, pork, venison, trout, salmon, and pike all in season of course we also produce a large proportion of our own soft fruit, herbs and vegatables we also gather fungi and wild fruit in season to add to our very full and well stocked larder.. you be the judge..look forward to hearing from you...Sorry if you have messaged me and i have not got back to you but please use the telephone as that is what works for us , many thanks ...sorry to all the folks who replyed by email and not telephoned but my internet was NOT WORKING so i could not reply but it is at the moment...so here goes we are looking for a long term helper or couple for the winter to help out, lovely warm cabin and the best scenery etc in return .....NOT ON INTERNET VERY OFTEN SO SORRY ABOUT LACK OF REPLIES BY EMAIL. Its now January 2015 and -15 centigrade very beutifull in the snow but the helpers cabin is nice and warm..looking for a hand to stack firewood in the shed move branches and groom Horses..XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxx Hi its now 5th of May 2017 and I have decided to give Helpex another try and see if any folks would like to come here and give us a hand on our busy but remote Ponytrekking centre, we are looking preferably for longer term helpers to come up and spend the summer here, helping out with bringing the horses in for treks and grooming feeding etc, in between times we would like a hand with the ongoing fence painting and raking up twigs etc and maybe a bit of grass mowing to keep the place looking good for the trekking guests, for keen rider there would be some trekking opportunities...
