small family run farm in a very beautiful remote isolated highland glen surrounded by native pine forest and high mountains,we milk our cows to make butter cheese etc have pigs chickens goats ducks geese for eggs meat milk etc and we grow as much of our own veg as possible we have no mains electric so we rely on solar and wind power which we are developing all the time we also have a diesel generator as a standby we also catch fish in the the rivers and hill lochs, for financial income we have a pony trekking centre and offer overnight trekking trips as well as by the hour treks, we also have a few budget accommodation cabins a pond with canoes and other small activities for visiting pony trekkers...appoligise to any one who has contacted us and not had a timely reply but our time on the internet is very slim so we do not always pick up messages very quickly...always besy to phone for a prompt answer thanks... cow just had new calf 9th feb so plenty of milk for cheese and butter making just now.....arab mare just had filly foal last night 7th of march..very cute...Early May now so starting to get busy with pony trekkers so would really like a hand to get ready for the season....painting ,grooming ponies and getting the garden planted up, any help would be much appreciated thanks....please phone to make arrangements thanks...its such a shame some people cannot appreciate this wonderfull place without feeling the need to cause trouble and modify the truth as in this sad lady below....gathering firewood at the moment ,getting ready for the big snow..Please use telephone...currently filming documentry for BBC television, will go on throughout the winter and into next summer...should be interesting!!
