Horses, Horses, Horses, We are a small working cattle ranch and also a grain farming operation, but our main emphasis is training horses naturally, and teaching humans how to get along and understand horses better. Join us for a fun & learning environment, you will do many new things. We are looking for motivated people who want to learn the art of training horses naturally (horse psychology & horse behavior)& how a guest ranch operates. We will provide lodging, meals (however you may have to do your own cooking), horses, equipment and instruction. We need help June - mid Sept.(6 week minimum). Duties will be, participation in our horse training course (teaching you how to be safe around horses and teaching you why horses do what they do and how to better help them learn), guiding trail rides, help cleaning, ranch maintenance, painting, fencing, basic farm work, going out horsebacking and possibly working with cattle. Our focus is on natural horsemanship and teaching our helpers as much as they can learn about the horse. We also accept people who have very little horse experience and have created a special program, to teach you from the very beginning about horses. You must have a willing spirit and want to enjoy the rural lifestyle of a Saskatchewan rancher, as we do not get to the city often. In exchange for accommodations, food, horse training lessons & horseback riding we ask for help with different projects around the ranch and help with entertaining our guests, which on an average day is 3 to 5 hours, but when we are not busy then there is time for relaxation etc. Free wireless internet is provided. Please contact us for more information. For more pictures, please go to our website, to have a look around the ranch
