Welcome, bienvenue, wilkommen Helpxers... can you visit in October, or November? (My September plans are uncertain.)
HAVE FUN in the mountains!
You can bike, hike or kayak.
Hang out in friendly Rossland, explore Nelson.
See wildlife (black bears, raccoons, eagles etc).
In south-central BC, 660 km (400 miles) from Vancouver and Calgary, near the US border.
Rossland is cool... cafes, bars, art, music, great trails and ski culture.
I have a B&B and Guest House with large gardens and orchard, 4 minutes walk from the town centre.
YOU WILL HAVE:
A nice room or cabin, Wi-Fi, bikes, kayaks. Good food that you help prepare. Possible road trips and lake trips.
If you want to learn, I can help improve your English and show you pruning, gardening, composting, and lots more.
Creative projects that use your skills.
Outside: garden, prune trees, repair, paint, etc.
Inside: clean house, sew, help organise, share computer and social media skills.
Work 5 hours a day, have 2 days off each week. (Or 25 hours per week as fits best.)
WE ALL COOK. And we work hard but happily. Energetic, cheerful help is appreciated.
Bus: Greyhound to Trail via Castlegar.
Rideshare: http://www.kootenayrideshare.com/rideshare/rides.php Rossland is 1 hour from Nelson
