Kia ora travellers. Hope you are enjoying our NZ winter. We are currently designing & creating a new pernaculture organic garden area & would appreciate any help with making it happen. We live in a bush Bach with 2 living spaces for helpers separate from the house & by a lovely creek. We would welcome happy , willing ,loving people with good sense of humour to stay & exchange resources with us.We are surrounded by bush & only 5-10mins walk to lovely swimming & fishing beach with a cafe & park& a great hike to a kauri grove. I would like to exchange accommodation & food for 4 hours work or accommodation only for 3 hours (this could be negotiable). My work wishes include electrical work , cooking ,permaculture organic gardening/landscaping , housework , cleaning ,painting ,digging, or even guitar tuition & more... We started our helpx experience with a lovely couple Lisa & Thomas from Germany who stayed for a week . They created a beautiful garden & cooked & enjoyed fishing while they were here. Then another lovely couple - Sue & Simon from England stayed for 5 weeks working & playing hard & happily in our gardens & home.My children & I were so well cared for while they were here with lovely dinners & homebaking & much more.xxx They were an absolute pleasure to host. We have enjoyed the company & enthusiastic help of Karima & Pascale originally from France. They spring cleaned our whare & weeded all my gardens & cooked beautiful meals for us with lots of laughter & care.So grateful!! We have also had some 'perfectly' lovely times with Martin from France who cooked 'Moules Frites' beautifully & played the guitar & sang & weeded & more , then Jonas & Paul from Germany who painted & cleaned & made great pizza & shared from his heart & Jonny from England who did some heavy duty weeding on the river bank & enjoyed catching his first snapper with my boys& walking to the pinnacles with my son. Marie from France joined us for a week & painted a ceiling inside & the railings on the deck(& the kitten lol) with such care & gentle nature. Max did some fantastic work on my computers & chopped a mountain of kindling. Alena & Leo from germany weeded & cleaned up & tidied & chainsawed & manicured our gardens & cared for me with nourishing meals while I was unwell.Julian & Ivy from hongkong cooked beautiful meals & cleaned my whare & campervan till they sparkled.Jake worked tirelessly on the new garden & move so many rocks with Rasmus. Jake was also patient & kind with me & my children & an absolute pleasure to live with.Steph & Alix created new gardens & renovated & revived old gardens & cooked & cleaned & cared for us. I'm just loving this exchange. It just gets better & better!!! Our whare & garden is getting more & more beautiful & productive as the days go by & our lives are being enriched with the company of some really lovely people. I have many tasks to continue with to enhance our lifestyle & environment. I will look forward to hearing from you.
