We are living at the entrance of the Tongariro National Park.
We are a permaculture place and are interested in people with a keen interest in organic gardening, animals and independent working attitude.
It's all about animals (dairy goats, pigs, geese, chooks, etc) plants, people, art, raised beds, self-sufficiency, wild food, etc. Non-smokers please and no drugs.
We are vegetarians; like working; have dogs, cats and some spiders in the house; kitchen share is essential.

We are also LOOKING FOR A LONGTERM PARTNERSHIP

Heidi, my wife and I have a fair 6 acre property in the outskirts of Ohakune, at the base of Mt Ruapehu. We have been practicing permaculture here for the past 25 years and are passionate about animals and plants. Being an older couple, we are coming to a time of change where we would like to share this lovely place with the right people. We are looking for a family, a couple, or an individual of any gender, sexuality, age, nationality and religion, who would like to be here long term with the idea of creating something together, and eventually take over caring for this captivating land.

This would be the perfect opportunity for anyone who would like to start living the permaculture way. The land offers a lot of space for creativity and the advantage that most of the tools to put those ideas into action are already here. Having lived here for the past years, we could be of help with some knowledge about the local climate, soil and community or share our experiences with trial and error.

We would love to hear from you and are open to all your questions. Please write to us here so that we can talk and hopefully meet you! Have a lovely day, Heidi and Kai
