From 20th of August to 1st of September we need help with cutting grass and wood, weeding, building the compost heap and wooden fence, fixing the tiles on the roof...
We are a couple who wants to create a place which is bringing together the past and the future. We focus on hands on learning, preserving the old tradition, building bridges between people, promoting self sufficiency, alternative education, ethical way of living. We want to make a space for people who are open minded, willing to give something to others and learn from them as well.
At the moment we are working on our house trying to bring it to full living condition, but without destroying the beauty of past. We want to create a space for people to experience the flow of time and at the same time make an opportunity to relax and contemplate the nature.
We are looking for people who want to give their time and skills in exchange for accommodation and food who can help us in:
-renovation (skilled volunteers needed)
-gardening
-pottery and basketry workshops (skilled volunteers needed)
-baking
-cooking
-language exchange- working with local community
-foraging
-craft making
-woodwork (skilled volunteers needed)
-art projects (music, drama, etc)
-alternative medicine
The working hours will depend on season, but would not exceed 5 hrs/ per day (4 days per week) or 4 hrs/ per day (5 days per week).
Accommodation in tents or in the house, depends on a season.
