We have a small vineyard, growing grapes to make wine in our small winery onsite. Our family consists of Andrew (dad) and Stephanie(mum) plus our 3 active children. We are a busy household with lots of activities going on all year round.
Our property is approx 50 mins drive North of Christchurch and 90 minutes South of Kaikoura. We are only 40 mins from the Hanmer Springs Thermal Resort town and 15 minutes from the beach and we are in the heart of the beautiful Waipara Valley Wine region. The little village of Waipara has a pub, a cafe, a garage and a small organic shop and post office. Amberley, our nearest town has a bank and small selection of shops and restaurants and is only 10 minutes drive.
Our guest accomodation is a cosy sleep-out with a queen bed and a toilet semi-attached. We are looking for help with clean-ups in the garden, olive picking, housekeeping, cleaning type jobs plus a little wine labelling for those colder days! For approx 4 hours work per day we can offer accomodation and two tasty meals per day. We'd love to meet you!
