I own a small property that is 1.5 hours from Nadi International Airport. If you arrive into Fiji during the day, you can travel by Pacific Express (Public transport) for approx. F$7.00 to Sigatoka town. My home is right beside the Sigatoka Sand Dunes, famous for their rich archaeological history and close to the beach which offers great surfing for all levels of surfers even those willing to learn. I am 5 minutes away from town and the bus transport (F$0.75cents bus fare)to my area operates from 7am to 5pm. Taxis however is 24 hours and costs about F$5.00 to F$7.00 into town.
I would welcome helpers to maintain the upkeep of the home. You are free to stay at no extra charge, however you will buy and cook your own meals, as I do not stay on property. You will have the house to yourself, so I would recommend this for couples. You will be required to keep the house and yard clean.
You are welcome to mingle with the locals who are mostly my relatives,so come and experience our lifestyle and I assure you, that you will enjoy your stay here.
