We are an international school in East Kalimantan, Borneo, Indonesia. I would like to offer my Kindergarten and school as a volunteer placement location. We are situated in a beautiful, lush, safe environment.We are the perfect stepping stone to Borneo's exotic flora and fauna. We have a pool, bowling alley and tennis court free for you to use whenever you are not working.
I can offer free private accommodation, to a very high standard, full personal support and help integrating into local culture while you are here, as well as free Bahasa Indonesian language lessons. I would accept 2-3 volunteers at a time but would like a minimum commitment of 1 month, more if possible. I would expect around 3-4 hours of work per day. Mainly the work would be helping our teachers and teachers assistants in the classroom environment. This would be a great opportunity for someone who loves children, is calm and patient and has some child care/teaching experience and is looking to gain more.
