Join us this season on our flower farm. We are a small producer of fresh-cut flowers, garlic, herbs and berries, 10 minutes from the coastal village of Tatamagouche. Currently we need help from September to October to assist with harvesting, weeding, market preparation and all those other jobs that come with running a farm.
Our farm is in a beautiful setting on 35 acres by the French River. We are a couple (originally from the UK) with 2 lively dogs, some hens and a large vegetable garden. Our farm is an opportunity to learn about market gardening in particular flowers and herbs. You will gain an all-round experience of life on a small-scale farm. We speak French and Spanish and welcome volunteer workers with an open-mind who are willing to share their skills with us and work alongside us to make this season really successful. Fay is a Reiki Master, healer and meditation teacher with a keen interest in herbs so for those who are interested in healing and/or herbs there may be opportunities to learn also. We can accommodate volunteers in our farm house and appreciate stays of 1-2 weeks. We look forward to meeting you.
