You are welcome to help here ! We are a small rural commercial/family farm in development, working on Organic Certification, PermaCulture. Yes we are in development (awesome work!) on approximately 5+ Acres of land used for cultivation; the rest is wooded lot, ponds. Here, you will find: berry fields, gardens, raised beds, ponds, flowers. You are welcome to spent time with us, we need help to establish our PermaCulture Plans, help with some CSA production, and any regular kind of work to be done on a small Farm: Water Plants, harvest, work on a fence this summer, or paint, help with contruction of small guest house or greenhouse, chicken coop, or even help prepare meals. Our farm will is service approximately 12 to 20 CSA families per year. We like sustainability, buying local and will provide a safe and enjoying learning, volunteering experience for people from Canada and sometimes from NetherLands, from Europe, Japan, other countries. We grow healthy foods, inspire others to do the same, offer a hands-on learning place for anyone interested.
The gardens are well thought and planned, designed to be functional, esthetic, soul nourishing, with some Wabanaki and Dutch components. You see a bit of everything heresometimes you may evn see a Moose or a deer, porcupine, eagles. There are berry growing areas, many greens, ponds, medicines, flowers, arbors, small cottage we are working on and a log home. We will build a permanent green house for year-round purposes. We live by the St Croix River, close to Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick. What an awesome place to discover on your spare time. We are here !If you like the Land, the Outdoors, this is the place. Tony and Madeleine
