A developing Eco retreat,and productive landscape set adjacent to,and surrounded by Native Bush and streams.We have been powered by alternative Energies since 2002.Our primary dwelling is a Post and Beam structure with light Earth as wall infill.We continue to build using natural materials and have a number of Natural building projects on the go...Our current needs are for people with a creative artistic streak just wanting to play.We have extensive orchards and garden plantings requiring harvest and ongoing maintenance as a part of our weekly/seasonal routine.We have various exotic and indigenous forestry woodlots, and have a large covenanted native bush block on our land we are stewards of.We adapt work routines to fit in with the weather, peoples skill sets and interests and have been known to get sidetracked on other interesting creative activities and mountain biking. Focus is currently on garden tidy up, getting ready to plant Winter green crops (if it rains?).
Checking on all last years tree plantings, getting ready to order either replacements and this Winter's plantings.
Our outwork involves Organic education and auditing. We are establishing home-stay/retreat options.
