We are currently looking for helpers as the tourist season begins. You will be helping Jeannie in the kitchen, setting up breakfast and dinner and joining our son Jago when there is stuff to do on the farm; at this time of year it's chiefly maintenance jobs, cleaning around the pool, weeding the veggie patch, helping us welcome our guests into cottages or the B&B.

Other jobs we like to get our teeth into at this time of year are painting and preparing rooms while there is a gap.....so previous experience and skill with sandpaper and a paintbrush is always a boon. General gardening skills are also welcome as we prepare the flower beds and vegetable patches.

Jeannie and Sam came from the UK to live in Spain in the early 80's and have been running their bed and breakfast, chestnut farm, organic vegetable garden and holiday cottages for around 30 years now. Jago returned from the UK to run the farming side of the business, and to help with guests, but we can always do with extra hands around the place! We also keep some sheep, hens and pigs.

Jeannie gives cooking classes at certain times of year, and we have just published our cookbook, available on Amazon.
We run a 120 acre forest of chestnuts and cork oaks, and keep pigs, sheep and hens; but our main work is looking after our guests. we have three holiday cottages, each with a small swimming pool, and we run our home as a B&B and cookery school.

Most of our guest (75%) are from English speaking countries, and we they take dinner together in the evenings at one big table. In summer we east in the courtyard and our cottage guests are welcome to join us.

Our helpers join us for lunch every day and have the afternoon off. Sometimes we need a bit of help serving the evening meal to our guests.
