Hi there,

Looking for a very special HelpXer or Helpxers.

It will be a mix of outdoor and indoor work - although if the weather is good, it may be mostly outdoor work. Suits a person who can pay attention to details.

From 1st October is good.

Prefer 1 person Guy or girl but may consider a couple/two friends. Good English is essential. Non-smokers only and no vegetarians. No campervans UNLESS you have excellent references from other HelpX hosts as HelpXers have previously stolen from us in order to furnish their campervan with things from our house... (sad, I know).

Our last two 18 yo helpxers were fabulous (Frania from NZ and Guilliuame from Belgium), so you have a hard act to follow ! We would prefer a friendly easy going person who wants to be part of a family life for your stay, esp German, Kiwi, English, Japanese HelpXers.

Gorgeous garden, warm character chalet style home with wooden interior. Comfortable warm room with pretty views and queensize bed. 4 hours per day usually 8.30am-12.30pm in exchange for food and accom, wifi and use of hot spa (etc).

Good location close to the forest and 4km from CBD. See glow worms in the forest 10 mins walk from our house (free) and also there is a nighttime walk under lanterns in the forest. Borrow our bike to cycle to the CBD or go mountain biking in the forest.

You need a photo on your profile and we need to see that you have taken the time to read our profile and that you use our name(s) on your email. We enjoy outdoors, strategy board games (e.g. Catan), talking, rugby, art. Also pool table.

Our approach is to book a HelpXer for a maximum of a 5 night stay. If we really like you, and you like us, then there may be an opportunity to extend your stay by up to 4 weeks.

Current projects for HelpXers - Building and staining a treehouse. Getting garden looking fantastic for a Garden Festival. School holiday help. Painting gate.

Cheers, hope to hear from you soon. Ingrid, Jan, Jacob (13 yrs)
