You are welcome to stay from the beginning of March. My farm is situated in beautiful surroundings 20 min drive from Oslo airport, close to the river Vorma.

We are doing farm tourism in a small scale and have exhibitions, shop and a café open every Sunday. We have sheep on the farm and a cat.
I need help in house and shop to clean, paint, gardening, cutting wood, repairing and making outdoor furniture, fence, building garden house etc.

If you want to help 30 hours a week, I will give you free accommodation, food and bikes to get around.

I need people to be independent and trustworthy because I have a lot to do outside the farm. You will need to work alone and experience the neighbourhood on your own. If you love to see more than the countryside, Oslo is just 40 min away by bus, or maybe you want to hire a car for the period. If you love to fish you will find Huser an Eldorado.
I will love to tell you stories about our region and hope you will share Yours

This summer I was expecting two girls from Canada. They were not let into the country because the told the immigration police they came to work as Helpx but they did not have a working holiday vica. This is what helpx give as an advice:

Please note that many countries view any form volunteering as a type of work, so therefore expect anyone planning on doing so who is visiting from another country to have a visa that allows you to work, for example a working holiday visa. If you arrive in a foreign country with just a tourist visa and declare to immigration officers your intention to go volunteering, they may question you more about that and in some cases refuse you entry into their country!"
