This is an adventure tour operator in the Bolivian Amazon, specializing in multi-day trips. Located deeper than any other operator in Madidi National Park, we are committed to offering our guests the most authentic rainforest experience. Activities include hiking, fishing, rafting, birdwatching and survival skills. We accommodate only eight guests at a time and tailor the tour to our clients' interests.

While the adventures are rugged, our EcoCamp is a relaxing and comfortable refuge. Swing in our hammocks, enjoy our traditional meals and experience life in the jungle. The founder of the company, Pedro Macuapa, is committed to the environmental, social and economic sustainability of his enterprise. We help to support his indigenous community, San Jose de Uchupiamonas.

We are looking for skilled volunteers with experience in one or more of the following fields: marketing, social media, hospitality, sustainability, tourism.

Native English & Intermediate Spanish required.

A personal computer is necessary to bring for marketing purposes.

We require a minimum stay of 6 weeks but prefer a candidate to stay 2-3 months. The volunteer program would be split into 2 segments.

The first half of your stay will be in the small town of Rurrenabaque (pop 10,000), located on the cusp of Madidi National Park. During your time in Rurre, you will assist with marketing and operations in our tour office.

The second half of your stay would be spent at our EcoCamp, in the heart of the Park. There, you will work to improve hospitality, professionalism and overall guest experience on our tours. Manual work may also be required.

During your stay, all accommodation will be provided. In Rurrenabaque, you will stay in a house with a private bedroom and shared bathroom. At the EcoCamp, you will stay in the shared employee cabana. Meals will be provided during your stay at the EcoCamp only.

You can expect to work 8 hours per day, 6 days per week with Sundays free. Extra days off are absolutely negotiable. You will additionally have the opportunity to take one free jungle tour with a larger group at least once per month.

Insurance & transportation to Rurrenabaque not included.
