WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER?

This host is experimenting with polyculture and permaculture so as a combined effort we would like to exchange knowledge with our xhelpers. The garden is always evolving so can accept new techniques.

We are looking for help in the vegetable and flower gardens.
TO INCLUDE: Sowing, planting, preparing ground, coppice, fencing, wildlife pond management, propogating and garden development.

Hours are flexible but would like 6 hours per day or 5 6h days per week.
In exchange we will provide food and accommodation for this experience.

About us

As a family we moved to France to explore the possibility of a sustainable way of life. Situated in the edge of a valley within the Limousin haute vienne region we can witness the sun setting over the tree line. We find our way of life inspiring although not always easy as there is always lots to do but we wouldn't change it.

Our home is a work in progress thus partly renovated 150 year old stone farm cottages and barns situated in 4 acres surrounded by farmland.

Sustainability is our goal and education in the form of some Ecological systems such as wind turbines, solar heating. We have modern composting toilet facility and a fresh water well.

We grow most of our food and constantly looking for new innovative planting techniques. We collect eggs daily and cook pizzas in our ancient bread oven. We do live and work from home as my partner is a woodworker making sometimes unusual wooden products from recycled timber.
