Welcome to the Mary Valley, Queensland
(45 mins west of Noosa Heads, Sunshine Coast)
"The Bush Behind the Beach" on Noosa's doorstep...

We are an Authentic Australian working horse and cattle property situated on the banks of the Coonoon Gibber Creek, in the scenic Mary Valley, Queensland, Australia. It is a 270 acre working property that was converted from an old dairy to beef cattle more than 15 years ago. Today the herd is being streamlined with an new direction into Brangus cattle. There is also a focus on using as many ecological and sustainable practices as possible, to ensure that a piece of the Australian Bush and Outback Heritage are alive for future generations to experience.
We are also host to a range of "Real Aussie Bush and Outback Experiences" including natural horsemanship demonstrations, working cattle dog demo's, Whip cracking, Roping, Exclusive Eco Camping-stays and B&B Farm-stays from Ringers Quarters, Stockman's Quarters, Swaggy's Room to the 100 year old Homestead Cottage. We are 5 mins east of the small country town called Imbil and is within easy reach of Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. We are on the steps of the great Borumba Dam.
Join us for a camp fire and camp oven dinner sometime! Vince is keen to share his horsemanship and hosting skills with our guests, including visitors from around the world.
Contact us if you would like an experience at a Farmstay.

We also specialise in helping Overseas Workers attain their 88 days to qualify for their 2nd year visa.

We require good mature minded workers, from 23 yrs of age. All workers must speak and have a good understanding of English. All workers must have an open manual drivers license. We take workers for a min of a Month but the majority stay their 3 months.

We always need 1 x Horse person to tend to our Trail/ mustering horses and ponies. General care and hoof care a priority. If you haven't done hoof care before you will leave here a completed horse person not just someone who 'rides' horses. We train with a natural Horsemanship discipline and work at one with the horse. If you have good horse sense you will be given the opportunity to work young/ green horses. This person also gets to conduct and supervise pony riding lessons. 2nd/ 3rd persons also get to work with the animals with animal feed up morning and night. Workers also do general Farm maintenance and this is described in full on our workers website.
Workers will be given the opportunity to learn how to drive tractors and work with ride-on mowers, push mowers and whipper snippers.

Your Host, Vince is a Trainer/ Assessor with Diplomas in Agriculture and Conservation & Land Management, Tourism and Business Management so has the ability to sign off on qualifications needed to work in the Rural Industry.
