LOOKING FOR SHORT TERM VOLUNTEERS TO HELP IN TRAINING WOMEN ON WOMEN RIGHTS, CHARITY WORK, MICRO-FINANCE, DOUBLE BANKING, HEALTH AND HYGIENE, TERM WORK, HELP IN FUND-RAISING, COOKING WITH FREE FOOD BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR ACCOMMODATION - US$5 PER DAY
We are a community based organization bringing together women with a passion for the suffering of the common woman in the community. We are involved with woman in the grass roots. Our passion and compassion led to the formation of the CBO.
We are involved in mobilizing women to meet our set goals and objects. We champion and advocate for the rights of women and other vulnerable members of our community including children.
WORK DONE:
Educating women on good leadership and Governance
Awareness and sensitization in the community for elimination of Gender Based Violence (GBV) that has left most women vulnerable.
- Advocacy against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).
- Advocacy for Girl Child Education also against forced early marriages.
-Awareness and screening of Breast and Cervical Cancer.
-Education on HIV / AIDs Intervention.
-Micro-finance enterprise and economic empowerment programs.
-Small scale farming, chicken rearing, sheep rearing, brick making and other fund generating activities within our community.
