We are Maureen & Harry, we are English, and we have lived in Greece for the past 2 years now. We are a quiet and relaxed couple and our place reflects this. We have 2.5 acres 'with potential' and it is to unlock this 'potential' that we need help.

From March we want to attract willing people from anywhere in the world to share their ability and our company. The only qualification required is a readiness to work. Good humour and a good nature will help.
This year we have plans to:
Landscape: from brush-cutting and stone picking to tree planting.
Create a garden area: from design to planting.
Set out vegetable plots: from the design and construction of wicking beds and poly-tunnels to the eating of the produce.
Create chicken runs, acquire the hens and eat the eggs.
Learn Greek: I'm ashamed to say this was on the last plan and could still be on the next.
And there is always maintenance such as weeding, painting and so on.
If you can contribute to any of these tasks we would love to hear from you. The work schedule itself is flexible and negotiable and will be fair for us both. We can offer you a comfortable guesthouse, identical to the one we live in ourselves and a warm welcome at mealtimes with all local produce; delicious. You also have the option and facility to cook for yourself when you prefer.
We are planning a website but in the meantime I should tell you the area we live in is special; at least to us. There is much to see and do if you are an explorer. From deserted beaches to mountain trails and from ancient sites to modern sights. And the amenities: the village of Kalo Nero is a walk away with shops and tavernas to meet everyday needs, the town of Kyparissia is 10minutes by car and the city of Kalamata (the nearest airport) 40 minutes.
