Howdy Helpful Helpers...two scheduled Wwoofers changed their plans at the last minute and were unable to come, so we currently have two positions immediately available for fun, funny, hardworking fantastic people who enjoy good food, great music and beautiful nature...please send me an e-mail and let me know a bit about yourself and we’ll go from there.

Regards from Sunny Karamea at the top of the West Coast of the South Island.

Please have a look at the video below for a good feel for what this Project is all about:

Located in the seriously stunning Karamea region at the top of the West Coast of the South Island, near the Heaphy Track, Oparara Basin and nestled in the Kahurangi National Park, our Project was founded in 2004 and seeks to combine the elements of Permaculture, Art, Travel and Education onto a sustainable business.

The project incorporates a hostel, a motel complex, a 4-acre farm with sheep and chickens, ducks, an 80-acre forest, organic vegetable gardens, radio station, fire bath, a naughty dog called "Moo," organic foods, awesome artworks and much more. This is a centre for artistic excellence, great music, learning, sharing knowledge, adventure, good food, interesting conversation, relaxation, and happy days.

Volunteers from the world over have been involved in the project and we welcome serious, hard-working, enthusiastic and friendly helpers as there is much yet to do.
