Hello! We are a couple nicaraguan-spanish with a 4 years old daughter with a small organic garden in Galicia. We have two small pieces of land and we grow all kinds of vegetables, there are also hens and chickens and some fruit trees. We are used to travel around the world, but now that we settled here we would like to keep meeting different people. We speak English, a bit of French and a bit of dutch.
We would like someone to help us with the garden because with our daughter sometimes is difficult for us to do all the work needed: weeding, watering, planting, raised beds making, harvesting, etc. we expect the person to help with the housetasks aswell.
The garden is in the countryside and we live in a flat in the main village, Cangas (Pontevedra), both in the seaside. We are five minutes walk from beautiful beaches, and near the forest aswell. In the area there is an National Park (Islas Atlánticas) and some nature reserves aswell all of them related with coastal ecosystems.
Cangas isin the Ría de Vigo (Rías Baixas) 20 minutes by boat from Vigo, one hour from Santiago and the border with Portugal, there are buses that communicate with the main cities aswell.
We offer a private room, three meals a day, internet access and transportation to the garden. We ask from you 4 hours work a day, 5 days a week. We need help mainly from spring until October but if you want to come another time of the year we can see if possible.
