The Newbold Trust is a Wellbeing and Sustainable Living centre. We are run by a small residential community of members and volunteers.

The house is a beautiful late Victorian mansion with 7 acres of grounds, orchards, woodland. Our walled organic vegetable garden provides the community with delicious food and honey. We are on the outskirts of the town of Forres, in close proximity to the beautiful coastline, rivers and mountains. We have close ties with the Findhorn Foundation ecovillage and community, which is just 5 miles away.

Accommodation is provided mostly in (heated) caravans, yurts or wooden hut in the garden with access to the house at all times.

How you can get involved:

***We are currently particularly seeking*****

Volunteers for two 3 month terms ( APRIL 30 - JULY 28 // JULY 30 - NOVEMBER 06)

You will work with us across our departments (garden, homecare, kitchen and reception) on an ‘as needed’ basis. The needs of the house will determine the type of work allocated. You will need to have an ability to handle moderate physical work, to hold a sense of responsibility for the work done and a high or good level of English is also required.

Accommodation and meals are provided. You will be expected to work 4.5 days a week 9-1pm and 2.30-5.30pm.
