Hi there, my business is a small 11 room motel located in the Daintree Rainforest, far north Queensland. It is remote with limited public transport. The management of the motel is changing shortly but may require more helpers in the near future (June 2014). What I need here are people who have no objection to cleaning and will put a fair work effort in. Quality Accommodation is either a guest room or the 3 bedroom Managers House.(One queen bed only in managers house) Full use of Motel Pool. Most other times I need some help with maintenance and gardening, pool. Work hours are 4 days per week. 6 hours per day, leaving you 3 full days and 4 half days per week to explore this magnificent region. Food is provided for you to cook for yourself using the motels kitchen. The Daintree is an absolutely gorgeous World Heritage listed area and is the oldest rainforest on earth. We generate our own power using as much solar as possible with a diesel generator for back-up. I'm hoping to find someone who would like to stay for a month or 2, possibly longer if they enjoy the experience. That would be ideal but now, in the slow season, people looking to stay for just a few days or weeks is fine as well. Solo travelers, couples or friends are all welcome to get in touch with me. The rainforest is not for everyone but if you're keen to give it a try, please call or email.
