Hi we are looking for a Help x all through the year. Someone with building skills would be fantastic as we are doing some renovations on the studio. We would also love help with our extensive gardens, caring for animals, weeding, mulching, pruning and planting. A little about us - we have a small 1.5 acre Bio-Dynamic garden and orchard as well as chooks, sheep and a pony. We have beautiful views out across the water, fields and up to the hills. It is a peaceful location. We also have kayaks and bicycles for you to use in your spare time and there are lovely local walks and easy access to Bruny Island.

Michael teachers horticulture at a local School four days per week. Chrissie works at the Univeristy and on yachts so is sometimes away. Our two young adult children Josh (aged 21) and Jess (aged 20) have recently moved interstate for Univeristy and still come and go during term breaks. We have a gorgeous dog and some tame birds.

Initial stays of 3-5 days then negotiate longer stays if things seem to be working well. Help may include general farm maintenance, compost making, building/renovating animal care, weeding, mulching, planting, fencing, cleaning paddocks, cooking, house cleaning, preserving. . .

We mainly use certified organic and home grown produce including beef, fish, chicken, wallaby, gluten free and vegetarian. (Let us know if you are a vegetarian so we can plan ahead).

Help x's assist with meal preparation, tidying and dishes. Accommodation two single beds in a a small studio a little way away from the main house with wood fire. The studio has a small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a microwave and toaster. The bath room is located in the main house.

The Channel area offers bush walking, kayaking, surfing, fishing, boating and magnificent scenery.
