We live in a wilderness retreat in the foothills of the Victorian Alps, by the Tambo River along the Great Alpine Road.

We offer accommodation in a vintage caravan, inside the shed. The shed has a wood fire and is a short walk from the house. We share our meals together and make our guests feel at home in our house.

We provide great food and campfire cooking - a genuine Australian bush experience - in exchange for 4-5 hours work a day, helping with building, bush regeneration and landscaping.

At the moment we are completing a building project so need people who have experience in building or landscaping, are willing to undertake physically demanding work.

Tracey is an artist and sometimes needs help with art projects, see her website link above.

We are looking for people who want a genuine bush experience in a wild and beautiful setting, who are fit, strong and happy to work outdoors. Please bring suitable clothes, boots and hat for outdoor work.

To get here if you're coming from Melbourne, catch the train to Bairnsdale (a 4 hour trip) and we can pick you up from the station, or there is also a local bus from the station to our place.

Thanks to Jesper Høgsdal for the use of his photos.
