My house is a quarter acre suburban block.
I'm Debra, an artist, gardener, student of French. Many interests including art, social media, ballet, reading, travel, international relations, philosophy, education, having fun with HelpXers. So bring your sense of humour.

You must have a solid work ethic and have a go-getter attitude.

Remember that this is a private home and you are an invited guest.

If you have specific skills, experiences and passions, please let me know about these as I try to match my needs to your expertise.

Work is 24 hours per week, for fours hours for six days from 8.00 until 12.00. Not 8.15 until 11.45 or any other variation unless previously negotiated. An Australian lunch follows. Dinner is around 6.30. Assistance may be required and punctuality is expected. Australian expectations for punctuality may or may not be different from your country.

Bedrooms have queen size beds or single beds. Helpxers use a bathroom separate from hosts.

A large shopping centre is fewer than 300 metres away and the bus stop to Brisbane central is there too.

We are close to Rocks River Park and Lone Pine Sanctuary and an area where kangaroos live in the "wild".

There is free wifi.

I have had many guests, so knowing what to expect before you arrive is better for all. When house rules are followed I hope you find me warm, helpful and fun.

Looking forward to welcoming you and building a friendship.
