I have been living here in Andalucia for 15 years, with my son and 2 daughthers. My eldest is studying away now at Granada university.

Having reformed our old country house, creating 4 rental properties, all enclosed in a couryard garden with a small pool.
We all then moved , onto the land, which is directly infront and separated only by a narrow track.

In this Olive finca, I have built, with stones from the nearby riverbed and mostly recycled materials our 4 bedroom family home. With generous help over the years, from friends and volunteers worldwide.

We also have in the corner of the land, a large camper bus with its outside terraced living space, all under one roof.

Closeby along a short path is the glass bottle bathroom and a splash pool. On the other side from this, is a small wooden house, with its attatched bathroom and outside kitchen.

I would welcome some help with, reforming and maintaining the existing buildings.

There is a Sauna to assemble, landscaping area to create shower and changing facilities and an outside shower also planning to build with glass bottles
We have ongoing land clearing, weeding, pruning, landscaping, olive picking, and planting in the veggie garden.
Building stone walls, steps, terraces, tiling and mosaic work.
Painting, cleaning and cooking

We can accommodate volunteer helpers in a small caravan, a room in the house, the camper bus or even a tent on land.

Our house and land are just outside a small village with a bar, a kiosk selling snacks, an eco co-operative shop/center, a school and church.

Orgiva 10 min drive away (or 45 min overland crossing the river).
This lively town which serves the surrounding small villages with its shops, bars, restaurants, banks and post office.
A popular weekly market each Thursday, when all the colourful alternative folk who have settled in or around the surrounding area gather to shop and hang out in the local cafe's and bars.

We have chickens, a small dog , a black cat and a rabbit running free.

We eat mostly vegetarian food and sometimes fish.

We have WI-FI internet.Mains electric and water.

We generally work 5 hours 5 days a week, that's flexible.

We are 35 min drive away from the beaches of the costa del sol, and in the other direction Granada, with the Sierra Nevada mountain range
You can explore the surrounding area, with its picturesque whitewashed mountain villages. There are also many activities like hiking, skiing, mountain bike, horse riding, and yoga available.
There are regular buses to Orgiva, from all directions and then to the village Tablones.
If necessary we can pick you up from Orgiva bus station.
