Sunshine Coast Hinterland

We live in Bella Creek in the beautiful Mary Valley in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, by car, 2.5 hours north of Brisbane and under an hour to Noosa Heads & beaches, National Parks, Eumundi markets. This area attracts camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking, water sports, horse riding, biking in the pine plantations & bush walking.
I am looking for helpers who love nature, motivated, have some common sense & can work with limited supervision on any of the following:
Yard work, clearing & gardening, chain sawing, brush cutting, building, dyi, painting, fencing, landscaping, repairing old/antique furniture, building dry rock walls & paths. A good understanding of English is IMPERATIVE as there are such a variety of things to do. Accommodation is a loft bunk bed with king & queen mattresses in the COUNTRY RUSTIC CABIN which has a kitchenette, compost toilet ensuite, outside gas hot water shower, DVD player a wood burner & a fire pit.
Food is supplied to suit your dietary requirements, you make your own meals, (although there will be meals shared occasionally) Sorry, as I am a full time carer for my aged mother, plus other duties and animals to tend to, I cannot spend huge amounts of time with helpers.
We have organic vegetable gardens plus some citrus & fruit trees.
Times worked in the morning 4.5 hours a day for 5 days (week days) with 2 days off on the weekend. Stays of 1 or 2 weeks initially, then longer if everyone fits well.
You will need closed in shoes & work clothes.
As we are living on 44 acres in the country, there is an abundance of wild life, birds, wallabies, hares, wild deer, lizards, spiders, bats & the odd snake in the summer, so if you have any phobias it's best not to apply here or anywhere in the country. We 2 horses, 4 peacocks, 2 geese, 2 cats & 2 small dogs. You have use of 2 kayaks, a seadoo (4 seater paddle boat). There are nearby creeks, a lake & rivers to swim in 5 minutes away. At night you can sit around your campfire by the cabin and enjoy the starry nights. WIFI at the house (min download satellite) limited mobile reception, Skype, DVDís, books.
