This is a gorgeous 600 acre property on the northern edge of Algonquin Park. The beautiful Amable du Fond River flows through our farm. Our farm is a sanctuary for buffalo, 15 rescued horses, and cattle.
We run three unique accommodations which we currently rent out. We have two custom built yurts onsite and a tipi. We are working to develop our property into an agri-eco destination with out-of-the-ordinary overnight accommodations, wonderful experiences for our guests with nature and animals, and a micro-brewery.

If you feel confident that we can help each other, I would really encourage you to get in touch. It'll be a true and unique Canadian experience.

Starting now we will be undertaking the building of a 30x40 foot 'cruck frame' timber frame building - to house our brewery. This is a beautiful building architecturally speaking, and one of the strongest and longest lasting of all styles from medieval England. This building is a large undertaking, and will be built primarily using materials locally sourced from our own property, including wood, straw, and clay. Jobs related to this project include:

- Various hands-on building skills
- Timber framing (an ancient skill)
- General carpentry
- Straw bale construction
- Clay/straw plastering
- Making cedar shakes for roofing

Along with work, we are also a social family with three young adult children. You can join us in many activities that the area has to offer, meet lots of our friends and generally join in our daily lifestyle. Swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, visiting the horses and enjoying nature!

Helpers may also work on the following things:

- Gardens(weeding, picking, planting)
- Fencing
- Helping to build structures
- Trail maintenance and clearing land
- Firewood
- Cleaning
- Laundry
- Guest services
