We live in the Granite Belt region of South East Queensland where it gets very cold during the winter months.

We are close to Girraween NP and Boonoo Boonoo NP. Stanthorpe and its surrounds boasts over 50 wineries, a Lavendar farm and many orchards, a couple of strawberry farm and vegetable farms.

We run a cattle and sheep farm with the usual farm animals - horses, dogs, chickens and cats. We are able to assist you in extending your visa.

We appreciate help with feeding the animals, cooking, general house cleaning and farm work, splitting wood and weeding gardens.

We both enjoy a good laugh and learning about other countries and cultures. Only Blue Tick Mobiles are useable here and Wifi is connected but sometimes slow.

Your own car would be an advantage, however, buses pass through Stanthorpe regularly and we can pick you up from the bus station in Stanthorpe. CRISPS Buses depart from the Brisbane Transit Centre - Roma Street, Brisbane at 10.55am Monday to Thursday and arrive in Stanthorpe at 2.20pm.

We would prefer older aged people due to our situation at present. English speaking would be a blessing.

We look forward to hearing from you.
Keith and Jacqueline
