We are a fun female kiwi married couple living in paradise with 7 dogs and 2 miniature horses. We are looking for cool people to homestay/homehelp. Before you read any further... we are fully booked until around mid March. However sometimes plans fall through so you can always message anyways and we can let you know if an availbity comes up.

We are 38 and 41. We enjoy a wide range of activities including bushwalks, boating, art, cycling, playing board games, video games and much more. One of us smokes green daily for migraine/arthritis relief and we are both cigerette smokers. We smoke both inside ( not where your room is ). Sharyn is a dog groomer and Jasmine stays at home mostly with chronic illness but on good days does voluntary work. We are young at heart, crazy in a good way and love cooking and many interests.

Our 7 dogs are Chihuahua, Griffon/Minpin and Chipins. They are all friendly and so much fun, some just take a little bit to warm up to you. Being a dog lover is absolutely essential! If you are good at photography then that would be a bonus if you can take good pictures of the dogs as they all have their own Instagram accounts hehe :-D

Our home is a small 3 bedroom home. It is a lifestyle property with a few paddocks and a beautiful wetlands area, reminds me a bit of Africa! There is so much bird life around! There are many beautiful nature walks and spots nearby. Iím happy to show you during your off time and maybe even if we do some dog walks as part of your hours. We are living in this smaller dwelling while we design our dream home. So if you have any architecture and or interior design background we like to hear all advice as this is going to be a big step!

The sleeping situation for HELP X is a little basic room separate to the home with a 3 person bunk bed. The bathroom is inside the home, not too far away. We have internet here but it is not brilliant. Our property is more of a destination/nature retreat and is really beautiful :-)

The work situation is 5 hours work a day. Once your 5 hours are completed then you can do as you please the rest. 5 days on, then a day off and so on. There would be an option to work additional hours in order to have additional day/s off by negotiation.

In exchange for basic food, cute lil lap warming creatures, accommodation and broadband internet would be a range of odd jobs such as: dog walking, dog grooming, cleaning dog deposits, dog area cleaning, sometimes dog minding when we go away, training sessions, looking after the horses, cleaning up horse deposits, house cleaning, car grooming, helping maintain social media sites, gardening, lawn mowing, home renovations inside and or out. Most of the work however is usually gardening/weeding outside and the care of the dogs. So must be willing to work outside for hours even when raining ( have appropriate clothes ). It does rain a lot, so must be okay with that! Please when you request confirm that you understand this :)

Potential helpers would be aged between 18 and 40, be tidy and social. It would be a major bonus if you like playing boardgames, videogames, smoking some green, going on adventures and so forth.

We live in a beautiful town called Warkworth and are also very close to Matakana. It is 40 mins drive north of Aucklandís CBD. If you donít have a car, that is okay as long as you give us gas $ to pick you up and drop you off and we can negotiate running you to the shops if you need things. I mean, we are happy to. Iím just often unwell, so can do so when Iím feeling okay.

There is off street safe parking.

We only consider requests if you speak good to fluent English and with a full filled out profile and clear photographs of who you are. Or a detailed email to us describing who you are, what experiences you have had and why you are interested to help at our place. If you are new to Help X that is okay but we just need to chat a bit by telephone first. :-D

Right, I think that covers a lot!!!!!

We look forward to hearing from you, any questions, just ask. Jasmine and Sharyn :) #shazzmine
