We are a young couple (33 and 35) living in Villar San Costanzo, a town in the countryside near Dronero, at the bottom of Valle Maira.
We live in part of a restored traditional farmhouse.

We can host no more than 2 people in the house (1 sofa-bed and one mattress), or (more basic but with more privacy) in a big tent in the garden. You'll have to cut the grass with the lawn mower to set it up though, so come before sunset ;)

we ask for 2 hours of work/day in exchange for accommodation. You can work longer hours one day and then take the next day off if you want :)

We both work out of town during the day, so we'd need a hand with the veggie garden (weeding, maintenance), with our 2 dogs and generally around the house (cleaning, or some cooking :) We like cooking too! :) ). We're also starting to work with bees. We're still learning, so you can learn with us or even better teach us if you know something about beekeeping!
Manuela is also learning to sew and Francesco plays the saxophone (or used to, at least).
We like music, the odd movie, art (Manuela works for an art gallery and art events) and nature.

Valle Maira is great for hiking, MTBiking, sightseeing and... eating! To travel around you need your own car, but you can obviously tag along when we go out with friends. Or try hitchhiking :)
In our town there are famous and curious rock formations called "ciciu", that look like giant mushrooms :) The small circuit there offers good views, a nice forest setting and, obviously, the ciciu experience :)

The closest train stations are Centallo and Cuneo. From Cuneo you can take a bus to Dronero.

We speak Italian and English.

We're looking forward to seeing you!
Happy travels!

Manuela & Francesco
