We are a small family run smallholding with an artisan bakery where we bake some of the best real bread in Scotland. We also have 450 chickens which produce great free range eggs. During this spring and summer, we are looking for help with mainly outside work around the smallholding such as feeding the chickens and collecting and packing eggs, grass cutting, gardening and chicken hut maintenance. we also need help in the bakery and our shop were we sell our own products and others that are locally produced. There's always a lot going on here and we are developing our business all of the time.
There is always a lot of cooking to be done so if you like doing this, that is great.

We are a very friendly household and will treat you as one of the family. We are very passionate about real bread and enjoy teaching our helpers. We try to make our helpers stay as pleasant as we can and try our best to provide the food you would like as we are very keen on tasty healthy food.

We are located on the outskirts of the village of Crossgates in Fife and 25 minutes drive or bus away from Edinburgh. The nearest train station and bus station is 5 minutes by car and we are happy to give lifts when we can.

Helpers have plenty free time midweek to relax or explore Scotland and we are happy to give lifts to bus/train stations where possible. We are a good place for for visiting Edinburgh and the Edinburgh festival in August.
