We have a 4 acre property that contains fruit trees, is cleared (park-like) and has a creek that is fun for swimming during the wet. The pool becomes a source of kang kong (water spinach) for eating when the tide drops a bit lower.

We have WIFI you are welcome to use, washing machine and dryers and Netflix.

The property is very close to town, the pool, and other services. Walking is possible to most things in town.

In exchange for staying on our property with us we'd appreciate help (depending on the person) with child care (particularly between now and the end of January), laundry, perhaps cooking and gardening and anyone handy with tools would be fantastic.

We can provide food or meals for you, but we'd negotiate on a case-by-case basis.

We have a safari tent for the right person/couple/family, with dining table, couch, fridge, privacy and a bush bathroom under construction (tub and shower, composting toilet, screened etc). The main house bathroom will be available until the bush bathroom is finished (hopefully to be completed over the next month).

The tent is about 5m x 15m, the size of two rooms, can have camping bunks added for children. It has a large outdoor deck, electricity and water (not plumbed). A hard core fan is available, and we can stick a sprinkler on the roof for hot days. The whole set-up is on a wooden deck (the tent has floorboards) with a metal roof to protect you from the rain.

Access to the main house bathroom, kitchen and living facilities would be provided as needed (and until the bathroom at the tent is done).

A travelling family would be welcome. We're not a rowdy bunch.

We're probably more comfortable with shorter stays (weeks rather than months) however if everyone gets along this is negotiable.

We have a large stupid dog with a beautiful nature, a cat, a few chickens, lots of wildlife. We're private and would like our home to stay that way. So wild parties are not really on our agenda.

Basically we're a family on a small property with a great glam-tent, who could do with a hand for a bit and would like to see whether you'd like to join our family for a bit.
