Our house is 10 min to Queen Street, Mount Eden is one of best neighbourhoods for community, character and ease of access to schools and Queen Street.
Bring your joyful energy, earnest interest in sustainable living, art, real food, recycling, and other forms of respecting the earth. We are very patient and do listen contrary to last guests' rant. We have helped many many traveller's get organized and comfortable before setting out on their exploration of Aotearoa. See our Airbnb listing for over 86 reviews of our hospitality. We are experienced DIY'ers who do have our way of doing things based on professional experience.

We work full time, busy and do have valid opinions based on years of research into health and well being.
As past guest reviews indicate we do not hold your hand and do tasks with you. We invite mature guests to follow through on a list of jobs detailed. We have witnessed success with this method as it is how we were deligated when we were traveling volunteers around Aotearoa 7 yrs ago. That being said this experience is about sharing with other young people our knowledge in permaculture and nutrient dense cuisine.

We are very grounded since we are parents and have studied with our community elders who are Waldorf educators. We are part of the Conscious parenting network, Quakers christian friends international among many other faith based charities.
*No perfumes, chemical body sprays ( Axe, linX, etc. ) Organic non GMO kitchen. Gluten Free kitchen. Never met a vegan identifying HELPXer or WWoofer who cares about nutrition. Most (we have hosted about 20 vegans over the years ) eat highly processed sugar laden packaged foods, creating so much waste.
