***LOOKING FOR SOMEONE FROM MARCH ONWARDS***
A few years ago I found a little slice of peace. It was a complete ruin and slowly with lots of time and a little money I am bringing it back to life.
From all sorts: I like to mix my time up and as there is so much to do I could never say I was bored!
I spend a fair amount of time keeping the land clear but this year it would be nice to get the vegetable garden to a better rewarding state. The land lends itself to so many possibilities. Soon I would love to be able to build a small mud/straw/ structure. I think I do a lot for one person but having some help would be amazing!
Itís very diverse with its own micro climates going on, meadows, ponds & terraces all gather down to the stream running through the valley floor, a woodland and hundreds of olive, cork, willow, oak, mature fruits including a very old mulberry tree terraced with endless vistas.
Iím normally working on a couple of projects, depending the time of the year but a bit of building, a little fencing, clearing the land and all number of other things while trying my best to build and live in a responsible way for the the environment.
I don't think the trades you have are as important as the common sense you hold but any carpenters, wielders, dry stone wallers, tree surgeons, botanists would all be very welcome:)
Thankfully the land isnít flat so it lends itself to lots of private terraces and secret areas to camp or just sit and watch this amazing natural world go by.
At the moment I have restored a small one roomed cottage and bathroom, simple with a kitchen, wood burner, sleeping and dining areas.
For guests there's a large horse box w/ sleeping/kitchen/sitting/dining area
During the warmer months or the tougher one's out there, there are many beautiful parts for you to camp.
Small motorhomes are also welcome, a warning that the last 100m of Ďroadí is a bit bumpy!
Oh and the toilet's a compost but you can hardly tell.
Iím looking for people from early March onwards...
Thanks for reading, safe travels
