Helpxers required to work around main house and garden section of large dry stock and stud farm. The farm also has a large palm, cycad and exotic plant nursery. Main house and garden includes small orchard of many different kinds of fruit trees, large flower gardens, full International sized petanque piste(boules supplied), heavy duty gymnasium, outdoor chess and other games and entertainments. HelpXers have full use of all such facilities. Host - a former three sport National Champion - will provide free weight training, petanque and indoor rowing instruction if Helpxers desire. Helpxers live in with host family, all meals and accommodation supplied, work on property 20 hours per week. Hours to be made up any way that mutually suits both parties. TV, DVD's, library, washing machine, drier, free wifi and internet provided. Paid work usually available in district if needed or required, but HelpXer would need to own a motor vehicle to get to or from such work. At this time we are looking only for Helpxers with English as their first language. We are currently seeking a mixed gender couple to help with gardening, path construction, landscaping, fencing, building etc. Experience not necessary - but willingness is. In bad weather Helpxers would help inside the main house, seven bay shed and secondary cottage with tidying, cleaning, food preparation and general indoor tasks. A separate position to the above requires a single Helpxer with provable professional carpentry/building qualifications to help convert an old yacht into dry land fixed accommodation. Both positions could be filled by one couple if one or other had an appropriate building qualification, language and practical skills.
