Thanks for reading our Profile

A little about us:
We are a family owned Sheep farm 30mins drive from Ballarat (eg Sovereign Hill) and 45mins drive from Geelong (eg. Surf Coast, wool museum), both towns have lots of things to see and do in your spare time.

Our farm is in a picturesque area looking out towards Mt Buninyong.

We'd love for someone to come and stay with us and help out around the place:helping around the house and a little on the farm in exchange for meals and accommodation (4hrs-5hours, 5 days/week).

We need helps with things like: keeping our veggie patch productive, planting plants/ trees, cooking, feeding animals, brushing ponies, collecting eggs, fencing, painting, etc. it's ok we will show you these things if you're not already familiar with them :)

There are also building projects that we would like to do and finish off. So if you have any skills in concreting, carpentry, building, welding, plumbing, etc, that would be great, but it is not essential. Although our goat would still love a kennel before winter!

It's not all about work! We have a menagerie of pets (quite a few of them are rescues) around the house area to have a cuddle with too! Horses (3ponies and two horses), "Socks the Goat", a cat, dogs, chickens, ducks, calves, budgies and "Crackling A. Mini Pig") each with their own story of how they came to live at our farm.

We often eat our home grown meat (lamb) and there are fresh eggs for breakfast when our chickens/ducks provide them :) and duck eggs make beautiful light and fluffy cakes!

We have native animals visiting frequently (not just the crawly ones!) Yellow Tailed and Sulphur Crested Cockatoos, Galahs, Corellas, Kangaroos, Echidnas, bats, Owls, possums, to name just a few (to remind you of the beautiful country you are staying in).

I've tried to include everything, but I'm sure I've left something out - so if you have any questions, please send us a message/email.

Unfortunately due to a change in government criteria we can no longer assist you with your 2nd year VISA unless you are paid.
