My property is 108 acres(70% natural bushland) in the Dalyup River Valley, 35km West of Esperance. I am developing an organic market garden set amongst the natural surroundings of this unique Land for Wildlife property. Diverse activities & enterprises are emerging here, including market gardening, eco-tourism, goat & alpaca breeding & various building projects. The holistic & sustainable working environment is suited to nature lovers. Work includes gardening, compost making, building, construction & maintenance.
Flexible work arrangements-4 hours a day. Own transport is an advantage. A bus service from Perth to Esperance is available 6 days a week.
I can accommodate 1 or 2 people. Couples welcome. I have a 22 ft, air conditioned caravan and/or 3 bedroom farm cottage available . Meals can be cooked & shared, or you can cook & eat privately in the caravan or cottage. Prefer 3 days minimum stay. Vegan & vegetarian friendly. Please no smoking & no children.
I am passionate about the environment & enjoy sharing my knowledge with others.I have extensive agricultural experience with animals & composting & am a keen naturalist. I love growing healthy food, bush walking and having a good laugh! I also have vast knowledge of the local area, which includes some of Australia's most beautiful & pristine coastline.
My property is a haven for wildlife, so you will see kangaroos, snakes, lizards and many native birds in their natural environment. During the wildflower season (September/October), the place is abundant with native orchids & various other bush flowers.
