We are a large organic, friendly and fun, eco-hostel, retreat centre and more. We are now in a transitional phase between finishing our renovations and taking our first guests.
We are looking for friendly outgoing people to help run the hostel as well as to help us with the daily tasks (which vary seasonally), for example, gardening, making jams and conserves, distilling, excursions, animal care etc.
Also we are now looking for talented artists for murals and madness.( anyone interested in this to please send sum pics of ur work.)
On weekends we have the beautiful Letovnik Riviera just down the hill, a secluded sandy stretch along the river for lazy days and barbecues. Whenever possible we go to traditional folk festivals, the beach and other cool happenings around bg.
We now have many animals:a horse,11 rabbits, 3 dogs, 10 chickens, 2 fat cats, 9 ducks, 17 tortoises, 2 turkeys, squirrels, hedgehogs, as well as diverse bird life and millions of butterflies and fireflies in season.
Besides our funky farm, we have lush organic gardens and many abundant fruit and nut trees such as walnuts, almonds, 3 species of mulberries, plums, apples, pears, sloe-berries, wild strawberries, rose-hip, cranberries and an unlimited supply of wild herbs, from which we stock our kitchen as well as making teas, tinctures and happy hippy herbal tonics.
We are situated in a small village called Letovnik, nestled in the rolling foothills of the eastern Rhodopi mountains. There are many beAutiful things to see and do in the surrounding area such as ancient ruins, monuments, tombs, petrified forests, caves, lakes, rivers, spas, hiking, forests, horse riding, milking cows, ostrich tending and riding, making cheese and butter, foraging, chasing fire flies and butterflies, many wild bird species such as eagles, falcons, hawks and owls, and there is also boating, kayaking, mountain climbing .......... its endless. Check out our out dated website for full list and details.
For services once a week we go to the laundromat, free internet access, there is public transport up the mountain 3 times a day. I am a chef by trade so all food types and dietary requirements are available and tasty too. There are shops in the nearby village and alternatively, a big supermarket once or twice a week.
we also have a large collection of musical instruments.....................
A good time is guaranteed for all
If you are looking for something cool to do this summer or any time............
COME and PLAY
SEE YOU SOON
