We need Helpxers in April to do some pruning and during the second half of May through to second week in July for the Olive harvest.

If you are spending the winter in NZ then join us in June and July for the olives. You will be warm, well fed and watered, before heading off to the snow.

Throughout the year we need HelpXers for pruning, weeding, mowing, vegetable seeding and other maintenance. Preferably a couple or 2 friends in their mid 20's.

The weather is the usual hot summer. On the east coast there is always lots of sun. The view is stunning.
We are in a great position- 1 hour from Picton and the Marlborough sounds, 1.5 hrs from Nelson and 1 hr to Nelson Lakes. We are 4 hours from Christchurch and 1.5 (approx) hours from Kaikoura. SH1 is open from 7.30am to 8.30 pm daily
We have 410 Olive trees in 2 groves and 150 hazelnut trees.
We host the Molesworth Tours once or twice a month for lunch and a tour around the grove. In return for good food and a comfortable room, we would love some gardening, harvesting, and general farm maintenance work to be done, hours would be flexible.
In March we harvest the nuts and in May/June/July we harvest the olives. In between times there is irrigation in the summer and mowing and weeding most of the time, fruit picking and preserving.

We have two lovely double rooms separate from the house with a shared en suite bathroom, good food and a happy home.

It is never boring.
