We are 15 minutes East of Masterton in the beautiful Wairarapa, on a large hill country sheep and beef farm. Aswell as sheep and cattle we have horses, which you are welcome to ride, dogs, a cat, pigs and chickens. There is lots to do in the Wairarapa- beaches, vineyards, wine festivals, beer festivals, horse races, markets, walking, out and about on the farm, tramping, hunting and fishing, swim in our pool, play tennis on our tennis court, pig hunting... Annie works in town two days a week and in another day for kids swimming lessons if you would like a ride into town for the day. Jobs will include helping around the house, gardening, cleaning, helping with our youngest two children (aged 3 and 4), feeding animals, vege garden and farm jobs depending on the time of year, firewood etc. James is born and bred Wairarapa farmer and Annie is originally from Edinburgh. We are very social and have a lively, busy household offering good food (home grown meat and vegetables) and comfortable accomodation. We are looking for people who are self-motivated, hard working and good company who can come and help us in exchange for a fantastic Kiwi home and farm experience... Currently looking for one or two people to come any time from now, to help mostly in the gardens and around the house and some farm jobs. We look forward to welcoming you!
