The farm is about 5,500 square meters. It has few trees, for seasonal fruits.
I also have about 140 chickens, that is every day job that need to put food, water, and gather the eggs.
And final sometimes the farm it needs seasonal jobs, like tree pruning or plant seasonal vegetables, clear the weeds and gather the fruits and vegetables.
I live on my own. My mother comes every weekend to help me.
I started to work at that farm in 2013. I am not certified organic and I am a member of the independant organic producer of Pilion.
The eggs of chicken is for local markets. Fruits and vegetable for our own consumption and some for local markets.
The farm is inside the village of Lyri (with 70 inhabitants). It has a beach around 1 km. and the nearest village of Katigiorgis (120 inhabitants) with mini-market is about 3.5 km. Around the village is mountains. Volos (150.000 inhabitants) is at 65 km.
Bus (KTEL) pass through the village of Lyri (twice a day Mon-Fri, once a day at week-end).
I have pets so volunteers need to no fear dogs. Also the bus which is coming to village is 2 times per day.
The house is located at the farm. Volunteers will stay in a 70 sq m. separated lodging at the ground floor of the house with : a kitchen/dinning-room/living-room, a bathroom (hot water from sun panels), toilet, 1 bedroom with a double bed. There is another double bed in the living room.
As for food i can cook for volunteers or provide them food to cook by themselves.

Fruit & vegetable's cultivation: seasonal fruits and vegetables (main task)
