We are looking for helpers in January to help us on our sheep farm and in our large country garden.

We have a large sheep and beef farm. We have a beautiful property just 10minutes from Masterton in the lovely Wairarapa. Stay in our beautiful homestead help with jobs on the farm and enjoy our warm house with central heating and free wifi.

We also have a beach house near a beautiful and isolated beach, which we visit regularly and you could help us planting a beautiful garden of native trees as well as enjoying fishing and diving.

Masterton is the main town in the Wairarapa and has all the shops and services you might need, including a train from Wellington (90minutes). We can collect you from the train or bus station.

We are a busy family with two young children. Guest accommodation on the farm is on the ground floor of the house with its own bathroom, and has some privacy from the family bedrooms which are on the first floor. At the beach you can use the spare room, the separate sleep out or a tent!

There are a couple of good trout fishing rivers nearby, and access to the Tararua Forest Park for tramping at the end of the road.

You will get 3 meals a day and comfortable accommodation and free wifi and an opportunity to learn about NZ farm and family life. We would like 5 hours work a day. You may like to work longer days and take some time off over the weekends.

We have a large vegetable garden and eat mostly our own free range meat, we can accommodate vegetarians. No smokers please.
