Amount of Help
We ask each guest to help out for 20 hours per week and to participate in cooking/cleaning up and keeping the shared areas of the home clean and tidy.

We ask each helper to plan and prepare at least 2 evening meals a week. We encourage sharing of favourite recipes and we will happily help you search for specialist ingredients.

If staying a part week, Helpx hours are 5 hours each day.

IE 3 day stay would be 15 hours of help.

Helper hours are completed before 'days off' and we are happy to arrange help hours so you can have continuous days off to explore the region. IE you can do 20 hours of help over a few days and take the rest of the week off.

We welcome people of all skill levels, as long as they are keen, willing to learn and open to new ideas and possibilities.

Part Time, Day and Weekend Visits
Helpers wishing to improve their gardening and farming skills by visiting for just a morning, day or weekend are welcome to apply.

Due to recent government changes we can not currently help sign off working visas.

Additional Information
Large groups, visitors with children & pets, dogs / livestock are welcome to contact us.

Household Rules
No smoking on our property or in front of our family.

Clean as you go.

Leave things better than you find it.

Treat tools and equipment with the same care you would handle you own precious personal items.

If unsure, stop and ask.

Put things back when you have used it.

Only enter animal enclosures, gated, fenced areas or paddocks if you are with the host.

We are a farm, lots of dirt, mud, nsects, noises, smells and large animals, if this concerns you, our farm is not the place for you.

We work outside most of the time, you will get dirty, muddy, it may be hot, cold or raining. Please bring clothing and footwear suitable for a farm. Water proof boots or strong, sturdy boots are required.

We are a working farm, helpers must be eager to do tasks on a farm and be capable of putting in a full days work. Please only apply if you are fit and willing to work hard. Tasks will be suitable for your skill and strength.

Anyone displaying behaviour that is considered unacceptable or are not participating at the farm/home in the spirit of Helpx will need to move on.
