About the 'job':
We are looking for someone to help us this summer (July & August). We offer a private room with en-suite private bathroom and a stunning view, meals, WiFi, yoga classes and a relaxingly active atmosphere in one of the most beautiful places in Europe. Also, any tips from the cafe will be shared among staff.
We are looking for someone that speaks both English and German. Having a drivers license would be a bonus.
We ask for 4 days of work per week. The work will vary from running our cafe (taking food and drinks orders, plating food, preparing drinks, etc), cleaning, helping out in the kitchen and possibly driving guests to/from hikes.
On your days off you can go out and explore the mountains; there are loads of possibilities here to go hiking, mountain biking, climbing etc. If you feel a bit insecure about going out on your own - you can always join on the guided hike that we organize for our guests on your days off.

About us:
We are a fun team; even though we are serious and professional about our jobs we like to enjoy ourselves while executing them!
Johanna (31) is our Austrian manager and hiking guide and takes the house guests on hike and mountain bike tours. If the work at MoaAlm is done in time, you might be able to join Johanna and the guests on adventures some times. Nelly (36) is from Germany and teaches yoga about 5 mornings per week at MoaAlms in-house yoga studio with panoramic view on the mountains. You will be able to join most yoga classes if you like! Sascha is Nelly's partner and manages the MoaAlm cafe as well as looks after house maintenance. Polly (36) is English and responsible for sales and communication with our guests. Craig (35) is Polly's partner and is the chef for our evening meals. Both Polly and Craig love hiking and climbing and whenever they are not busy in the house, are exploring outside.

Last but not least it is important to tell you that we have a dog living at MoaAlm. Lucky is a super sweet dog that love being outside, playing and cuddling.

About Wearactive:
Xania and Craig (both from the UK) started Wearactive 9 years ago. They offer relaxingly active holidays on the Croatian Island of Vis. Last year they opened a new location in the Alps of East Tirol, Austria. Because Xania and Craig only live at MoaAlm in winter time, Johanna became the fulltime/year-round manager of Wearactive Austria.
Our philosophy at Wearactive is that being active in the outdoors helps people truly relax during their holiday.
We love nature so we make sure that our business does not disturb nature (or at least as little as possible). We use solar energy, we recycle our waste, we source our supplies locally, etc.

About MoaAlm:
MoaAlm is a recently renovated guesthouse at 1800m in the middle of Hohe Tauern National Park in Austria. Our location is truly something special: the views from the house are stunning, many hike routes start from the house, the 'garden' is filled marmots, gems and deer. Please note that MoaAlm is a remote place! The village of Kals is a 45 minute walk away, from which public transportation can be used. Lienz is the nearest city (30km).
Our main business is having house guests. House guest are people that booked a holiday with us: they eat, sleep and undertake activities with us. You will have breakfast and dinner with us and with the house guests. We like to have a personalized and homy atmosphere at our large dinning table. One of your jobs will be to help us out with the cleaning and laundry that we need to do when guests leave/arrive and halfway during their stay.
Also, MoaAlm has a cafe that opens 6 days per week from 11.00-18.00 for other people (locals, tourists in the area, etc). One of your jobs will be to help us run the cafe.

We hope to find someone that enjoys being in the heart of the Austrian Alps as much as we do!
