We travel NZ for 33 weeks of the year starting late sept through to the beginning of may.
We travel with The Original Gypsy Fair, and run a mobile food kitchen. We start in the middle of the North island working our way around it so that by the middle of February we are in Wellington ready to cross over to the South island to do about 12 fairs.
We would like help on the Fridays, Sat & Sun. Over the christmas and newyear period we work eight days straight, and some weekends are longer ie easter, and some anniversary, and public holiday weekends.
You would be working about 6 hours each working day but you would have the days from Monday to Thursday free, unless it's a long weekend.
This is a great opportunity for someone to travel round NZ see both the north and south islands and to experience this unique lifestyle, and see our beautiful country.
Our fairs start in Whakatane, then Gisbourne, then we are in the Hawkes bay region for about 4 weeks before going to different towns throughout the middle of the north island, then heading north to Auckland where we are in that region for about 4 weeks, before making our way back down the north island, and usually crossing over to the south island late February to spend 10 weeks traveling the beautiful south island.
We are happy to pick up helpers anywhere along route, and happy for them to travel with us for a long or short term.
